Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education from Millikin University, Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Ball State University
I was a history teacher and the principal and assistant principal encouraged me to pursue an administrative license.
No two days are alike. I write and respond to emails from teachers, parents and peers. I supervise the hallways prior to school. I see students for discipline issues, visit classes, supervise the lunchroom, and I meet with parents or other administrators. Many evenings I supervise extracurricular activities.
I love that new ideas are encouraged and expected. I am challenged to think creatively, find new ways to handle situations and learn better ways to communicate. I help students make good choices, learn and succeed.
