Meet Nicole
Clinical Pharmacist

Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy from Purdue University

What Lead You to Your Current Job: My interest in high school chemistry led me to pursue a degree in pharmacy. Once in college, I was inspired by my college roomate, a cancer survivor, to devote my life to treating cancer.

Job Duties: A typical day involves educating and comforting patients. I also check doses and labs to see if a patient is fit to receive chemotherapy that day. I serve as a drug information specialist for nurses, doctors and others.

What I Like About My Job: I enjoy educating patients on what to expect from upcoming chemotherapy treatments. Comforting them on what will become this life changing event is a very fulfilling part of my job.
